As a toddler, he hijacked his parents’ saucepans to build a homemade drum kit and played along U2’s Best of 1980-1990. Fueled by an insatiable passion for music, his journey began and has continued to flourish ever since.
Mathieu studied music theory and drumming for over ten years in Belgium while juggling rock and jazz band rehearsals, live shows and high school. Before moving to California, at 18, he discovered the world of electronic music and recognized its potential as a versatile avenue to keep on making music while on the move.

In parallel, he discovered a vivid interest for cinema, specifically the Nolan-Zimmer collaborations that became an important inspiration. Mathieu started to experiment mixing electronic music with strings, brass and big percussions, a signature sound that continues to echo through his compositions to this day.

While studying in the Netherlands, Singapore and England between 2011 and 2016, he released an album under the artist name Pacific Highway as well as a few music videos that he directed, filmed and edited himself.
Following a relocation to Luxembourg and a three-year music hiatus due to challenging work schedules, Mathieu decided to make time for music again and embrace a fresh musical journey. He reintroduced himself to the music scene with a renewed, more mature sound and professional approach. He released two EPs Arkipel and Motion Pictures in 2020 and 2022.
Amidst his immersive dedication to production, Mathieu found himself presented with an opportunity in 2022: to go on stage as the opening act for Worakls at Rockhal, Luxembourg's biggest venue. He hadn't played live in over a decade, but the excitement of putting together a live set and the adrenaline coursing through his veins as he shared his latest creations with a live audience made him redirect his focus toward live performances.
Mathieu released his first live album Live and Surrounded by Friends in 2023. The album was recorded during a sold-out concert that he organized at the iconic Luxembourgish venue Melusina. His 90-minute live performance surrounded by his friends and family was filmed in a "Boiler Room"-type of atmosphere.

In 2024, as a fan of the livestream platform, event producer and record label Cercle, Mathieu put together a video project inspired by their work. In a mesmerizing fusion of music and industrial heritage, he played atop a retired blast furnace in the South of Luxembourg and filmed a one-of-a-kind live set.
The summer of 2024 marked a vibrant period for Mathieu. A standout moment was sharing the stage with NTO at Philarmonie Luxembourg's renowned End-of-Season Party, performing in front of an electrified crowd of 3,000. His talent was also recognized through his winning of the open call to perform at the Flow Music Festival in Belval.
